Bergara B14 Thumbhole
Featuring the M5 AICS platform, the unification of the threads and barrel contours and the addition of the cerakote and the modernization of the spiderweb finish, but also in providing different stock options that provide a purpose to each hunter’s choice.
Along these lines it seems natural to introduce a thumbhole stock to the B14 series due to its success and performance that they already have in the Wilderness series. An entry-level model that is sure to position itself in the market as the best option for the purchase of a thumbhole stock, which also adds the renowned barreled action of the B14. A model that is born with a guaranteed success and that renews and completes the options of the B14 range.
THUMBHOLE STOCK
A Thumbhole stock that feels special. Loaded with features such as adjustable cheekpiece configuration and length and ergonomics for improved fit and a more natural grip on the gun, promoting a more intuitive grip for total control of the rifle. The opening that gives its name to this type of stock brings the hand closer to the trigger and the vertical grip improves the firing position. Aesthetically, it is aligned with the new B14 finish with its spider web for a more modern look and includes slings holders and attachments that allow the addition of rails, bipods and straps.
As it can not be otherwise the Bergara barrel is always one of the great exponents of the brand for its guarantee of quality and precision. With a defined process and a reputation that precedes us, all Bergara rifles share this characteristic that defines us. These characteristics complete a precise rifle with a barrel with a hunting contour ideal for short and medium distances. The choice of calibers is also designed to meet various types of hunting, and therefore also adds the possibility of scopes and sights in the box.
ULTRA SMOOTH ACTION
The ultra-smooth Bergara B14 action consists of a two-bolt system with a sliding extractor and a tapered bolt and breech stop to ensure smooth cartridge insertion and extraction. The action has a cerakote finish that complements the barrel. The bolt is flute-plated to enhance its appearance and reduce its overall weight by a few grams and closes with two lugs and angle of 90°.
AICS STYLE M5 MAG
The big difference with the rest of the series brothers is undoubtedly the inclusion of the M5 platform. Until now the B14 series had a proprietary trigger guard and magazine, but like the STOCKE this rifle changes and defines the new B14 line with AICS type magazines, which makes it compatible with the rest of the compatible aftermarket accessories.
