Peterson 7.62 x 54R Lapua Unprimed Brass Rifle Casings
For those who like using their Mosin-Nagant for hunting or have a Dragunov marksman rifle and want to maximize accuracy, these casings have good head hardness and provide a high number of reloads.
Previously, shooters with a Mosin-Nagant that's chambered in 7.62 x 54R had to choose between old brass casings or cheap steel casings. Further, much of the Mil Surp ammo uses Berdan primers which can be a hassle if you want to reload. Less that ideal options.
Reloaders now can get their hands on high-quality brass from Peterson to help increase accuracy, and deliver more reloads per case.
According to Derek Peterson, president of Peterson Cartridge, “When we designed the tool pack for this calibre, our goal was to produce a top-quality, match-grade 54R casing. We sent some of our first-run casings to loading companies for evaluation. One of the loaders reported back that it was the best 54R brass they ever shot. They went on to say this new Peterson brass in 7.62 x 54R could breathe new life into this calibre.”
Peterson finished by saying, “The 7.62 x 54R is a good dependable caliber and now we’re offering good dependable USA-made brass and ammo for it.”
Warning: Only use Peterson Cartridge Co. casings in firearms in good condition, designed, marked, and chambered for this cartridge.
