This base system is required with either Talley Quick-Detachable or Talley Fixed Rings. Suits Mauser models as listed in drop down options.
Note: Steel Bases for 98 Mauser Large Ring .500 Rear Extended do not fit military receivers that still have clip slot.
Like their rings, Talley Scope Ring Bases are machined from solid bar stock and made to securely fit your firearm. The double recoil shoulder design of the Talley Base will hold your scope with absolute rigidity under severe recoil.
